Fundraising for Migrant Laborers in Bihar

Efforts led by a group of doctoral students resulted in raising over 2 lakh rupees to support migrant laborers and daily wage workers in Bihar during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through their nonprofit organization, they provided food supplies to over 200 families and worked towards developing a low-cost prognostic test for high-risk individuals in slum areas. Their collaboration with donors and government approvals ensured a substantial impact on vulnerable communities.
